From the people to the architecture, government to technology; it is all different. There is however one thing for sure; the people of Japan are STILL true to their country and their culture. In some aspects, technology has taken over, yet Japan still treasures its past heritage and traditions.

- Technology - Technology is one of the biggest changes of Japan. It has definitely taken over many of Japan's cities, such as it capital, Tokyo. From cars to iPhones. Refrigerators to televisions. It has changed how we live
- Architecture - it isn't hard to pick out the difference between these two ages. Skyscrapers are the buildings of Japan, but the traditional castles will always be worshipped and treasured by the people of japan.
- Religion - religion is a big part of Japan's culture. Buddhism and Shinto will always be the biggest religions, however today, many religions are accepted.
